"Pre-Diabetic, Hypertension, and high risk for a heart disease"... Well, thank you for the diagnosis Doc but I don't buy it !

July 28, 2021

It was really a shock and hard to believe that I was profiled as "pre-diabetic, hypertense, and high risk for a heart disease" considering that I have been very active and athletic my entire life, and challenging myself constantly physically and mentally.

I thought that maybe it was because of my genetics...  and sadly I had to learn to live with that.

Besides the shock and frustration, I let me guard down and found myself at the mercy of the mainstream medicine and the usual protocols to address my "issues".  I started immediately with the recommended medications, and after a few months into treatment I started to develop the so called "normal, expected, and natural side effects" like low levels of anxiety, palpitations, extreme low energy, headaches, mood changes, insomnia, and even gout !.  Wasn't I supposed to get better ?. Yeah, my biometrics were improving a little bit but what about the other side effects ?, I asked the Doctor.  And after a long and detail explanation of possible reactions and interactions of my body and the medications, she decided to change the dose and add a few more to help me cope with some of the side effects.

That is when I decided to discontinue my prescription drugs and do the required work to dig deeper and take full control and extreme ownership of my health and own my wellness holistically.

After DNA testing, hundreds of books, seminars, podcasts, and research, that took me well over 4 years, I was able to gather an enormous amount of insights into what was going on with my body and mind. And realized that what I was going through was not unique to me and that my personal quest and discoveries could be very valuable to many people.  I learned, tested and tried many unorthodox protocols and methods -that ranged from exercises, nutrition, and other disciplines that I will describe and explain in other blogs, and I was able to pretty much eradicate all the health imbalances and challenges I faced.

This amazing experience and journey helped me to reassess and recalibrate my priorities to strengthen my purpose and ethos to guide, help, lead, and serve others much better.
